Job summary

Guyton Family YMCA is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead wellness, group exercise and program initiatives, coordinating with HR and leadership to recruit and develop an integrated team of coaches, instructors, and support staff.

The role includes managing budgets, ensuring safety, maintaining certifications, and participating in community campaigns and events to advance the Y’s mission in Guyton and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Maintain required certifications (CPR/AED/BLS First Aid) and keep current.

Responsibilities

• Lead Welcome Center staff to deliver excellent member service and meet retention goals.
• Oversee budgeting, payroll accuracy, and financial reporting for branch operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, supervise, and build a cohesive wellness/program team.
• Plan and participate in required meetings and community events; ensure safety and compliance.
