Job summary

Liberty Utilities, a division of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., is seeking a Director of Operations to lead Water/Wastewater operations across Missouri, Arkansas and Texas. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning while advancing regulatory strategy and ensuring EH&S compliance.

You will guide a team of Operations staff, liaise with Legal, HR and Engineering, and influence policy to support growth and reliable service. Travel across the US and Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of progressive management experience.
• Experience with budgeting and financial oversight.
• Understanding of utility regulatory issues.
• Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel within the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations and results of drinking water, wastewater and reclaimed water.
• Lead planning and development of water and wastewater rates and regulatory matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local rules for water/wastewater utilities.
• Coordinate short-, medium-, and long-term plans for water supply and treatment.
• Lead and develop Operations staff toward company goals and budgets.
