Job description

Join Us at Gloo: Help Us Build the Leading Technology Platform to Serve the Faith Ecosystem.
At Gloo, we believe relationships catalyze growth-and when technology serves relationships, the world can be transformed, one life at a time. We recognize the faith ecosystem is broad and diverse. It includes churches, parachurch ministries and thousands of non-faith based organizations committed to advancing the flourishing of people. Our purpose is simple yet profound: to shape technology as a force for good, so that people can flourish and communities can thrive.. Therefore, our mission is to build the leading technology platform to serve the faith ecosystem.
We are a mission-driven organization, guided by four core principles:
  • Shape Technology for Good: Whether it's AI tools, dashboards, or communication tools, we empower leaders with values-aligned solutions that amplify their missional impact with tools they can trust.
  • Serve Those Who Serve: From pastors and donors to network leaders and content creators-we're passionate about providing technology that helps them do more of what they are called to do.
  • Release Collective Strength: We connect the diverse faith ecosystem-churches, parachurch ministries and thousands of non-faith based organizations committed to advancing the flourishing of people-so they can achieve more together than they could alone.
  • Enable Ecosystem Trust: Trust is the foundation of a connected faith community. We enable transparency, digital rights management, and simplicity to foster confident collaboration.

We are looking for talented, mission-driven individuals to join our team as we create innovative technology solutions that inspire and empower people to release the passion in every person, including you, to be all they were created to be. If you're ready to make an impact with your talents and skills toward this purpose, we'd love to hear from you!
The Opportunity:
We're seeking a Director of Visual Brand to lead the development and execution of the Gloo visual identity across all marketing and communications. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role for a design leader who is equally excited to build scalable systems, mentor creatives, and dive into design execution when needed.
This isn't just a brand job - it's a rare opportunity to lead visual design at a purpose-driven company doing meaningful work in the world. You'll be at the helm of how people experience Gloo visually, helping to build a brand that is clear, bold, and inspiring. You'll collaborate closely with the VP of Brand & Corporate Marketing along with talented and driven cross-functional teams to scale a design system that's both beautiful and deeply human.
We're looking for someone who is mission-aligned - someone who cares deeply about using their creative gifts to serve the faith ecosystem with a bigger vision, who is energized by collaboration, and who thrives in a culture of agility, humility, and excellence. You'll mentor and grow a talented team while setting world-class standards for visual design across the company. If you're someone who finds joy in both the craft and the leadership of design, we'd love to connect.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own and evolve the Gloo brand and corporate marketing visual identity across digital, print, video, motion, and physical environments
  • Provide creative direction and hands-on design expertise for marketing campaigns, product visuals, social content, brand launches, and more
  • Mentor, support, and grow a team of graphic designers while creating a high-performing, collaborative design culture
  • Develop scalable design systems, brand guidelines, and processes that ensure consistency across internal and external efforts
  • Partner with product, content, marketing, and executive leadership to bring the visual brand to life and thread a consistent brand throughline across major initiatives
  • Translate strategic business and brand objectives into compelling visual experiences
  • Stay ahead of trends, tools, and innovations in brand and design-bringing fresh thinking to the table regularly
  • Present and advocate for your work with clarity and confidence, especially in high-level, cross-functional settings
  • Lead trainings to help equip and empower team members across the company and ambassadors outside the company to confidently express the Gloo visual brand
  • Lead key brand campaigns from ideation through execution, keeping design standards high and timelines tight

What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years of experience in visual or brand design, with 5+ years in a senior or art director role
  • Proven experience building or evolving a brand identity system from early-stage to mature recognition
  • Experience leading and mentoring designers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A trusted communicator who fosters collaboration and clarity, while confidently translating input into purposeful brand decisions-balancing stakeholder needs without compromising brand integrity
  • High comfort level presenting to executive stakeholders and contributing to brand strategy conversations
  • Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and design systems; motion design (After Effects, Framer) a plus
  • Bonus if you've worked with mission-driven orgs or understand the faith ecosystem (churches, ministries, etc.)
  • Humble, collaborative, and comfortable leading through ambiguity with flexibility and optimism
  • Passion for design excellence and brand storytelling, with a strong eye for detail and consistency

Job Location: Remote in the U.S.
Compensation: $140,000-$180,000 commensurate with experience
Our Team Members Enjoy:
  • Competitive compensation and discretionary performance bonus commensurate with experience
  • Flexible PTO policy and state-compliant sick leave to support your well-being
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans with up to 90% coverage for employees
  • Generous employer HSA contributions for HDHP elections
  • Employer-sponsored 401k program with a 2% employer match
  • Learning & Development stipend available after 6 months of employment
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • A dynamic, talented team, dedicated to changing the world and building an incredible business
  • Onsite and virtual social events to keep us connected in our hybrid work environment
