Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Science, Technology, or other quantitative field.
• Substitutions: relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
• Plan and direct daily underwriting operations with budgeting responsibilities.
• Develop and refresh region-level book management strategies with leadership.
• Coordinate with regional Sales to anticipate client needs and manage workload.
• Provide guidance and insights for critical clients and strategic initiatives.
• Drive portfolio results aligned with strategic goals and risk appetite.
• Maintain client relationships with key stakeholders and ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee risk management and issue resolution within underwriting functions.
