Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or related quantitative discipline.
• 7 years underwriting/risk management/actuarial experience applying advanced mathematics or quantitative analysis.
• 5 years external client interaction or comparable external interactions.
• 5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, develop, and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct daily operations with budget responsibility.
• Manage books of business and regional strategies with Underwriting and Sales leadership.
• Coordinate with regional Sales to anticipate client needs and manage workload.
• Provide guidance and insights for critical clients.
• Align portfolio results with strategic goals.
• Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee strategy development and risk resolution.
• Bridge Underwriting with other departments as SME.
• Ensure adherence to Underwriting policies.
• Review renewal/prospect quotes and advise on modifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
