Job summary

Taylor Hodson Staffing is assisting a large nonprofit in securing a Director of Treasury Operations in Midtown Manhattan, NY. You will oversee daily treasury activities, cash management, and liquidity forecasting while guiding ERP modernization and automation initiatives.

The role requires 3–5+ years treasury experience, supervisory leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and exposure to Workday treasury functionality. Expertise in Excel and familiarity with SQL/Python are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of treasury, cash management, accounting, or financial operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong liquidity forecasting, banking platforms, and cash management experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems; Workday experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or AI-driven automation is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash positioning, liquidity management, cash-flow forecasting, and treasury operations across entities and funding sources.
• Manage banking relationships, account administration, user access, and internal controls.
• Lead treasury-related ERP migration and Workday treasury functionality implementations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve financial reporting.
• Develop cash-flow models, dashboards, and reporting tools for financial planning and decision-making.
• Partner with Accounting, AP/AR, and FP&A to improve cash management and payroll cash needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage treasury staff to ensure timely execution of daily operations.

This individual will oversee daily treasury operations, cash management, and liquidity forecasting while playing a key role in modernizing financial systems, automating processes, and supporting an organization-wide ERP transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash positioning, liquidity management, cash-flow forecasting, and treasury operations across multiple entities and funding sources.
• Manage banking relationships, bank account administration, user access, and internal controls.
• Lead treasury-related ERP migration and implementation initiatives, including Workday treasury functionality and banking integrations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate manual workflows, and improve financial reporting.
• Develop cash-flow models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support financial planning and decision‑making.
• Partner with Accounting, AP/AR, and FP&A teams to improve cash management processes and coordinate payroll‑related cash requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage treasury staff while ensuring accurate and timely execution of daily operations.

• 3–5+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, accounting, or financial operations.

• Strong experience with liquidity forecasting, banking platforms, and cash management.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, or financial systems implementations.
• Exposure to modern ERP platforms; Workday experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with technical tools such as SQL, Python, Microsoft Copilot, or AI‑driven automation is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage both daily operations and longer‑term initiatives.
