Job summary

OLIX seeks a Director of Test Engineering to lead manufacturing test strategy, architecture, equipment, automation, and processes for the DX-1 AI accelerator across component, subsystem, and final product testing.

You will partner with Engineering, NPI, Quality, Industrial Engineering, and manufacturing partners to ensure test capability meets quality, coverage, cycle time, and cost objectives as we scale from NPI to high-volume production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Optical/Computing engineering or related field.
15+ years of engineering leadership in Test Engineering with 5+ years leading teams.
Expertise in manufacturing test architecture, equipment, and automation.
Experience from NPI to high-volume manufacturing for complex electrical/optical products.
Proven ability to optimize coverage, throughput, yield, and cost.
Experience building automated test systems and analyzing data.
Ability to partner with contract manufacturers to scale production.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end manufacturing test strategy across components and final products.
Design, integrate, validate, and qualify test equipment, fixtures, and software.
Ensure test readiness for manufacturing launches with cross-functional partners.
Improve test coverage, throughput, cycle time, and cost; reduce false failures.
Scale test manufacturing with partners to support ramp and high-volume production.
