Job summary

Absher Construction is seeking a forward-thinking Director of Technology to shape technology strategy, drive AI initiatives, and lead IT and Business Systems Analysis teams in the Pacific Northwest. The role focuses on aligning technology with business goals, modernizing systems, and ensuring security and reliability across field and office operations.

Qualifications

10+ years IT experience with progressive leadership roles
Experience developing enterprise technology strategies and roadmaps
Hands-on AI/automation implementation in an enterprise environment
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, and ERP/BI systems

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with Absher’s priorities
Lead enterprise AI strategy and governance for data management and integration
Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and continuity planning
Mentor and develop IT managers and foster a servant-leadership culture
Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and ROI measurements
Collaborate with operations, estimating, accounting, HR, and other departments to implement solutions
