Interior Elements is seeking a Director of Technology to lead technology initiatives across our footprint. This hands-on, player/coach role drives AI strategy, project management, and delivery of technology projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate combines ambitious, analytical thinking with proven leadership, managing cross-functional teams and complex programs in a growing contract interiors environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business, PM, or related field.
• Strong understanding of AI, ML, data, cloud tech, and modern software development.
• 3–7 years of experience managing IT or technology projects.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in creating the AI strategy and help implement in a hands-on role.
• Identify practical opportunities to use AI and automation.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine where they can add value.
• Manage and lead Website and appropriate updates.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.
• Manage project budgets, resources, vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate status, decisions, and action items.
• Prepare regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Manage requirements, documentation, change requests, and project deliverables.
• Ensure projects follow organizational IT standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
• Support continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
• Ensure successful transition of completed projects to operational support teams.

Position Summary

The Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects from initiation through completion. This role works closely with the entire team vendors, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to defined requirements and quality standards.

• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
