UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education seeks a Director of Technology & Business Enablement to lead a ~15-person team, bridging technology, data, and business strategy in a hybrid role in Davis, CA. You’ll shape technology strategy, governance, and AI-enabled transformation to support learners, instructors, staff, and partners.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee enterprise apps, cloud platforms, learning tech, data services, cybersecurity, and governance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive leadership experience overseeing technology, data, BI, project management, or related operational functions.
• Experience managing professional staff, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Experience leading enterprise initiatives involving technology, process improvement, transformation, or service delivery.
• Strong strategic planning, staff development, performance management, and resource stewardship.
• Knowledge of enterprise technology, data governance, analytics, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a multidisciplinary team spanning technology strategy, solution design, systems development, data and BI, portfolio management, and governance.
• Develop and drive long-term technology roadmap and digital transformation strategy.
• Oversee governance, risk management, budgets, and operational effectiveness for the BET.
• Translate organizational priorities into scalable technology, data, and enablement solutions.
• Drive AI, automation, and emerging technologies to advance CPE’s mission.
