The Well is seeking a Director of Tax Strategy & Operations to build and lead a new tax division in Middle Tennessee. You will drive high-level tax strategy, plan for growth, and work directly with the founder and advisors to shape the firm's tax future.

Ideal candidates are CPAs with 10+ years of tax experience in wealth management settings, a proven leadership record, and a passion for modernizing tax operations. Hybrid work with relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of tax experience with a strong tax planning focus.
• Background in or alongside a financial advisory or wealth management firm.
• Proven leadership with an entrepreneurial, systems-oriented mindset.
• Comfort with technology and a drive to modernize how a tax department runs.

Compensation: $100,000 – $175,000 base | Performance Bonus | Relocation Available

We're hiring a Director of Tax Strategy & Operations on behalf of our client—a growing financial planning firm based in Middle Tennessee with a bold roadmap and a brand-new leadership seat to fill.

This isn't a traditional tax role. This is a build-it-from-scratch opportunity for a CPA who leads with strategy, thinks like an entrepreneur, and wants to shape the future of a firm's entire tax division.

• $100,000 – $175,000 base salary, depending on experience
