NextEra Energy Resources, LLC seeks a Director of Tax Operations to report to the Executive Tax Director. You will oversee federal/state income tax returns, ensure compliance, and support tax planning for M&A and other transactions across subsidiaries, including regulated utilities and energy projects.

This role requires deep technical tax knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to drive process improvements and technology-enabled solutions within the tax function.

Qualifications

• Senior-level tax leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state income taxation.
• Ability to lead and develop a tax team.

Responsabilités

• Direct federal and state income tax return preparation, review and filing for NextEra Energy and affiliates.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Lead tax planning and M&A support for transactions.
• Provide guidance on federal/state tax legislation and audits.
• Drive automation and technology enhancements in the tax function.
