A leading Certified Community Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Director of Talent and Outreach to lead recruitment and community engagement efforts in Ashland, KY. This role involves developing strategic initiatives to attract top talent and build strong community partnerships, contributing to workforce strength across a ten-county service region.

Position Type: Salaried, 37.5 hours per week, M-F, 8:30a-5p

Position Summary: Pathways is seeking a dynamic and motivated Director of Talent and Outreach to lead our recruitment and community engagement efforts. This key leadership position plays a critical role in growing and strengthening our workforce while fostering positive relationships with educational institutions, elected officials, and community partners across our ten-county service region.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to attract and retain top talent across all service lines.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, universities, high schools, training programs, and workforce development boards.
· Engage regularly with elected officials, local organizations, and other community stakeholders to enhance Pathways’ visibility and reputation.
· Represent Pathways at job fairs, speaking engagements, and community events to promote career opportunities and organizational values.
· Collaborate with internal departments to identify workforce needs and align talent acquisition efforts with agency priorities.
· Develop innovative pipelines for hard-to-fill positions, including internships, fellowships, and grow-your-own programs.
· Support retention and workforce planning strategies to ensure a robust and resilient employee base.
· Partner with the Marketing Department to create compelling outreach materials and recruitment campaigns.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations, or other related field/equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, public engagement, or a related field.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse audiences.
· Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
· Experience working with educational institutions and/or community organizations is highly desirable.
· Passion for behavioral health, workforce development, and public service.
