Windsor Florida seeks a hands-on Director of Grounds and Sustainable Land Care to lead the development and maintenance of a 47-acre native landscape in Vero Beach, FL, coordinating with the landscape architect, VP of Construction, and association manager.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in native Florida horticulture, strong environmental science background, and proven leadership to train staff and subcontractors while aligning with sustainability goals and club standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in native Florida horticulture and landscape management.
• Strong knowledge of plant health, soil biology, water practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license required; Spanish language skills strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Supervise native landscape installation and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with North Village Landscape Code and Plan.
• On-site supervision of landscape contractors and daily inspections.
• Lead workshops and training for Windsor staff and contractors.
• Prepare weekly evaluations and grounds management reports.
