Penn State Dickinson Law seeks a Director of Student Affairs in University Park, PA to lead student support and well-being across Carlisle and University Park. You will oversee programs, counsel students with personal or academic challenges, and coordinate accommodations and orientation with the Senior Assistant Dean.

You will mentor the Associate Directors, oversee student organizations, ensure ABA standards, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and alumni to create an inclusive environment

Competenze

• Experience in higher education administration or student affairs/services.
• Education in Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or law (J.D.).
• Preferred: law practice experience and/or higher education administration experience.
• Knowledge of ABA Standards, disability accommodation practices, and bar character and fitness requirements.

• Provide holistic support to students facing personal, social, emotional, or academic challenges.
• Mentor student leaders, encourage professional identity development, and address behaviors affecting the learning environment.
• Support orientation, signature law school events, and commencement activities.
• Lead programming to raise awareness of disability resources and coordinate accommodations.
• Guide the Associate Directors in supporting student organizations and leadership training.
• Oversee policy administration, communications, and annual handbooks.
• Lead daily Student Affairs operations at University Park and co-curricular initiatives.
