Director of Strategy and Corporate Development

Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr

The Director of Strategy and Corporate Development will lead strategic initiatives and oversee corporate development activities, providing modeling, critical insights and recommendations to drive business growth. This role is in the consumer goods and energy sector and offers an opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership and manage high‑impact projects. The organization is known for its focus on innovation and strategic growth.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute corporate strategies to support business growth and expansion.
  • Lead financial modeling around acquisitions, including evaluation and integration.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align strategic initiatives with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Oversee financial modeling and valuation activities for current operations and potential new business ventures.
  • Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including investors and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in corporate development activities.
  • Role based in Beverly Hills, CA and may be relocated within the U.S. if required.
Qualifications
  • Strong educational background in finance or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or an operational entity.
  • Proven expertise in corporate strategy, development and FP&A.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with senior leadership.
  • Track record of successfully managing high‑impact projects in consumer or industrial goods (preferred but industry agnostic).
