Job summary

Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, TX seeks a Director of Strategic Support to lead long-range strategy development and supervise planning efforts across the organization. The role assists leadership in defining growth and profitability objectives and in creating actionable plans to achieve them.

The ideal candidate has a MBA or related field, 5+ years of management experience in a medical setting, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and payer relations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of management/supervisory experience preferably in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payers.
• Thorough understanding of a health care environment.
• Must be or have the ability to become familiar with regulations relative to Critical Access and Rural Health Clinic standards.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy-making bodies, third-party payers, patients, and the public.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of health care administration, fiscal management, and government regulations and reimbursements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Master's degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field preferred.

Experience
