Job summary

Ayres Associates seeks a Director of Strategic Marketing to lead the firm’s marketing function and support long-term strategic growth. You’ll unite marketing operations, brand positioning, and communications with business development and operations to drive client development and market expansion.

You will advance market intelligence, client insights, growth planning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration while ensuring messaging consistency and alignment with Ayres' priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible marketing, business development, or growth leadership experience.
• Experience within architecture, engineering, construction, professional services, or consulting industry.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and developing talent.
• Experience supporting proposals, pursuits, and client development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Marketing team with a culture of collaboration and client service.
• Oversee proposals, pursuit support, brand management, communications, digital marketing, events, and industry visibility.
• Partner with operations and Business Development to support growth initiatives and market opportunities.
• Establish marketing plans, budgets, and performance measures; align investments with strategic priorities.
