Job summary

DISA Uranium is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to support the evaluation and execution of strategic growth opportunities across the uranium sector. This multidisciplinary role combines geology, mining, strategy and transactions.

The successful candidate will bridge technical and commercial teams, assess acquisitions and partnerships, and develop clear recommendations for senior management and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• 7–12+ years of relevant professional mining experience.
• Commercial experience in corporate development, business development, investment banking, private equity, mining investment, strategy or transaction execution.
• Strong understanding of mineral exploration, resource evaluation and mining project development lifecycle.
• Experience evaluating acquisitions, investments, joint ventures or other strategic transactions.
• Financial modeling and valuation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and prioritize acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and strategic partnerships across the uranium sector.
• Lead the technical and commercial assessment of mining projects, including geology, resource potential, exploration upside, development stage, infrastructure, permitting considerations, capital requirements and strategic fit.
• Review technical reports, resource estimates, geological data to form independent asset views and recommendations.
• Lead and coordinate due diligence on potential transactions across technical, commercial, financial and legal aspects.
• Develop valuation analyses and clear transaction recommendations for investment and capital allocation decisions.
• Maintain a prioritized pipeline of opportunities and assess geography, processing infrastructure and long-term resource strategy.
• Build relationships with uranium companies and asset owners to support acquisitions and joint ventures.
