UCSF’s Office of University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) seeks a Director of Gift and Endowment Planning to lead sophisticated gift structuring for broad UCSF priorities. You will manage a donor portfolio, partner with frontline teams, and structure complex planned and blended gifts to build long-term support.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will serve as a trusted resource, educate colleagues and donors, and advance gift planning literacy across the university’s academic

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Expert knowledge of planned giving, fundraising, and donor relations concepts.
• 3–5 years direct gift planning experience, preferably in academic health center or higher education.
• Strong command of legal, financial, tax, and estate planning relating to gifts.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with high political acumen.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills to manage pipelines and timelines.
• Ability to partner with frontline major gift officers and leadership.
• Discretion and confidentiality in complex environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
