Job summary

Lilly is seeking a PhD-level statistician to join its Regenerative Medicine team in the United States. The role focuses on designing clinical plans, innovative study designs, and rigorous data analyses to support drug development and regulatory submissions.

You will lead statistical methods, collaborate across data sciences, communicate results to stakeholders, and mentor team members. Eligible candidates have a PhD, 7+ years in pharmaceutical clinical research, and strong SAS/R skills.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• 7+ years of experience in clinical research and development in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience contributing to IND, BLA, or NDA submissions, including direct interaction with regulators (FDA/EMA).
• Experience in gene therapy, rare disease, or ophthalmology clinical development.
• Proficient in SAS, R, Spotfire, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical trial design and analysis for studies.
• Write protocols and statistical analysis plans; perform analyses.
• Collaborate with data sciences to ensure data quality and method currency.
• Communicate study results through regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and presentations.
• Provide statistical leadership across functions and influence business decisions.
