Job summary

Neumo is seeking a Director of Database Administration to lead the DBA team and own the availability, performance, security, and disaster-recovery of our SQL Server environment. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management and cross‑department collaboration.

You will set the strategy for high availability and DR, oversee security controls, and represent the database function in planning with Product, Engineering, and government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years of MS SQL Server DBA experience.
• 3+ years managing a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DBA team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Own HA/DR strategy, disaster recovery testing, and capacity planning.
• Oversee database security, access control, and compliance for regulated data.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and government customers on data architecture and roadmap.
