Job summary

YMCA of Greater Richmond seeks an energetic Service Delivery Director to lead the Sports department at the Shady Grove Family YMCA. You will supervise staff and volunteers, guide program development, and expand community reach while maintaining strong member relations.

This role requires evening/weekend work, a related degree, and at least two years of youth sports program experience. CPR/First Aid may be required; excellent collaboration and budget management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of programmatic experience in youth sports.
• Experience in leading staff and volunteers and managing large programs and budgets is essential.
• CPR/First Aid certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Sports department and supervise staff.
• Manage youth and adult sports programs, sports camps, and related programming.
• Supervise part‑time sports staff, gym monitors, and volunteer coaches.
• Create high quality programs and build relationships with members and community organizations.
• Be available for a varied schedule with frequent evening and weekend work.
