Qualifications

• Licensed as Director of Special Education in Minnesota.
• Minimum of three years experience in the field.
• Preferred: Licensed as School Principal.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include organizational, supervisory, and management abilities; communication skills; working with parents and community; program implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff capacity and professional learning opportunities for department staff.
• Coordinate hiring for direct reports and ensure equitable hiring
• Supervise direct reports with formative feedback and evaluations.
• Lead activities to ensure budget alignment and resource accountability.
• Collaborate with district and department leaders to improve programs and outcomes.
