Responsibilities

Provide educational leadership and expertise concerning special education programs.
Give direction to schools on program effectiveness and planning; monitor compliance with federal, state and district regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in implementing services so that each student may benefit from evaluation and learning experiences.
Use computers for word processing, data management, information retrieval, and presentations.
Represent the school and district at community, state and professional meetings.
Collaborate with school personnel to ensure delivery of special education and preschool services.
