Job summary

Agile Space Industries in Durango, CO seeks a Director of Program Delivery to lead multi-million-dollar hardware programs from concept through qualification and production. You will manage cross-functional teams, align engineering, supply chain, and production, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery for demanding space missions.

This onsite leadership role reports to the COO, offers relocation support, and includes stock options as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field.
• Fifteen or more years of experience in complex hardware development, manufacturing, or program management, including multi-million-dollar programs.
• Experience delivering new product development programs from development into full-rate production.
• Strong understanding of the hardware lifecycle from requirements through delivery.
• Experience managing integrated schedules, budgets, risks, forecasts, and customer commitments.
• Proven leadership across cross-functional engineering and operations teams with executive and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Office Team Leadership: lead 10+ project management professionals and establish clear direction.
• New Product Development and Delivery: drive development through design, qualification, production, and delivery.
• Production Delivery: lead cost, schedule, quality, throughput, and delivery in production programs.
• Customer and Commercial Management: maintain proactive communication with milestones and status.
• Risk, Quality, and Compliance: drive delivery risk burndown and ensure AS9100, NASA, DoD, and customer requirements.
