Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering experience with 5+ years leading technologists
• Expert backend in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python with SQL/NoSQL data modeling
• Deep AWS experience with end-to-end cloud-native systems
• Hands-on Kafka experience including design and stream processing
• Strong CI/CD and test engineering practices
• Excellent communication with business/operations stakeholders
• Experience leading AI-enabled engineering operating models and governance
• Understanding of responsible AI risk and resilience at scale

Responsibilities

• Directly manages multiple engineering domains with a strategic focus on microservices and cloud infrastructure
• Sets and scales multi-department strategy for event-driven system design and cloud architecture
• Establishes standards for microservices architecture and automated testing
• Applies cloud infrastructure knowledge to drive cross-domain integration
• Provides leadership to engineering teams across platforms
• Oversees operations across business lines aligning with strategic goals
• Interfaces with senior leaders to drive consensus on technical objectives
• Leads AI-enabled delivery workflows, governance, and release practices across teams
• Defines guardrails for security, resiliency, and traceability across the SDLC
