Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead a technical area within the Commercial and Investment Bank - Post Trade Technology. You will drive impact across teams, technologies, and projects, serving as a primary decision maker and innovator in solution delivery.

You will oversee critical support for trade processing, clearing & settlement, collateral management, reconciliation, regulatory reporting and related services across asset classes and business lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including 5+ years leading technologists and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on coding experience.
• Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• Makes decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
