Job summary

EPIC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Director of Social Services to join our leadership team, providing guidance and oversight of the Social Services department. This role focuses on ensuring resident well-being, coordinating care, and maintaining high standards of service.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Social Work (Master’s preferred), at least 2 years in long-term care or healthcare with supervisory experience, and knowledge of MDS, care planning, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or healthcare setting; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and discharge planning.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania (preferred, but not always required depending on facility policy).

Responsibilities
