Role Overview
As the Social Media Director, you will shape and scale our brand’s presence across social platforms, foster community engagement, and drive conversations around health and longevity. You’ll lead the development and execution of high-impact social media strategies, managing a team including a Social Community Manager, Social Intelligence Manager, Social Response Specialists, and Channel Leads. Your expertise in content, data storytelling, and audience engagement will deepen community connections and expand our digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & build the social media team, ensuring alignment with brand voice and mission.
- Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase engagement, growth, and brand awareness.
- Oversee community management, guiding the Social Community Manager in fostering authentic connections and managing engagement.
- Work with the Social Intelligence Manager to monitor trends, brand sentiment, and optimize strategies based on insights.
- Supervise Social Response Specialists to ensure timely, brand-aligned customer interactions.
- Collaborate with Channel Leads to tailor content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Establish KPIs, analyze data, and report on performance to refine strategies.
- Partner with marketing, content, creative, partnerships, events, influencer, and product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
Qualifications & Skills
- 7+ years in social media strategy, team leadership, and digital marketing.
- Experience building and scaling high-performing social media teams.
- Deep understanding of community engagement, trend analysis, platform algorithms, and newsjacking.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in social listening and performance metrics.
- Ability to guide creative teams in innovative content and campaigns.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire teams.
- Passion for health and awareness of current news, culture, and social trends.
