Kiski’s soccer program has enjoyed tremendous success over the last decade and the school is seeking a Director of Soccer Operations who will continue this legacy of excellence. Kiski’s next Director of Soccer Operations will be a champion for both the school and the program. In the 2024 season, Kiski fielded its first-ever varsity girls’ soccer team, and the Director of Soccer Operations will be committed to furthering this team’s success as well as to expanding the program’s offerings to include junior varsity level teams.

At Kiski, coaches mentor and develop student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom and play a key role in shaping their futures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of Kiski’s soccer program, including practice planning, game strategy, and player development for the varsity boys’ soccer team.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate all members of Kiski’s soccer coaching staff including junior varsity coaches and varsity girls soccer coaches.
• Work closely with the admissions office to identify, recruit, and retain mission-appropriate student-athletes to the soccer program.
• Guide prospective student-athletes and their families through the admissions and financial aid process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Cultivate a positive program culture across all teams that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, character, academic success, and excellence both on and off the field.
• Build a development-focused program that ensures JV players receive high-quality coaching and clear pathways to advance their soccer careers.
• Coordinate with the athletic department on all logistical aspects of soccer operations.
• Partner with the college counseling office to assist student-athletes in their college searches, especially those who aspire to play soccer at the college level.
• Plan and direct Kiski’s Summer Soccer Academy with the goal of growing its enrollment to at least 100 campers over two 4-day sessions by the summer of 2027. Oversee all aspects of marketing, budgeting, and staffing for Kiski Summer Soccer Academy.
• Participate in the broader Kiski community through a supplemental role in teaching, administration, and/or residential life.
