We are seeking a Director of SoC Design to lead and contribute to the development of cutting-edge FPGA-based solutions. This role requires a highly experienced leader with deep expertise in SoC integration, ARM IP, peripheral and network-on-chip (NoC) integration, and the full spectrum of SoC design, verification, and timing. The ideal candidate will manage a small team in Austin while also actively contributing to design efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of SoC engineers in Austin, driving execution of SoC design projects.
Hands-on contribution to RTL design, including integration of ARM IP, peripherals, and network-on-chip.
Develop and review micro-architecture specifications, ensuring alignment with overall system requirements.
Oversee all aspects of SoC RTL design, from architecture to RTL implementation and ensuring verification and timing success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, verification, and software teams, to ensure seamless SoC integration.
Drive technical innovation, best practices, and methodologies in SoC design.
Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience in SoC integration and development.
At least 5 years of experience managing teams in SoC design.
Extensive experience integrating ARM IP, including processors, interconnects, and related subsystems.
Proven expertise in peripheral and network-on-chip (NoC) integration.
Strong background in writing and defining micro-architecture documents.
Comprehensive understanding of SoC design, verification, and timing closure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of low-power design techniques.
Familiarity with advanced process nodes and physical design constraints.
Salary Range
