Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a senior pharmacovigilance leader to drive lead signal detection activities for complex therapies from post-marketing data sources.

You will develop surveillance strategies, perform signal validation, and prepare safety analyses while communicating findings to safety teams and stakeholders. Travel up to 10% across US sites is expected as you mentor colleagues and guide cross-functional discussions on methodology.

Qualifications

• Advanced healthcare-related degree (e.g., RN, PharmD) with 9+ years in drug safety, including 3+ years in signal detection.
• Deep understanding of signal detection systems, global safety regulations, and data analysis tools (e.g., FDA AEMS, VigiBase).
• Experience with SAS JMP, epidemiologic principles, public health surveillance, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement surveillance strategies.
• Perform signal validation.
• Prepare safety data analyses.
• Communicate findings to safety teams and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional discussions on signal evaluation, guide data source selection and analysis methods, and support exploration of novel safety surveillance methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to training efforts.
