Job summary

FACETS is seeking a mission-driven Program Director to lead operations at Bailey’s Community Shelter in Falls Church, Virginia. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, staff supervision, and client services, ensuring program quality and alignment with organizational standards.

The role requires strong leadership, a focus on best practices in homeless services, and the ability to cultivate a positive work environment. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and significant experience in human services are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressively responsible human services experience.
• Experience in shelter operations and crisis management.
• Ability to lift items weighing 10-20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily management of staff and operations.
• Ensures clients receive professional support in a safe environment.
• Develop, monitor, and implement policies for program development.
