A leading life sciences company is seeking a Director of Sequencing Sales to drive revenue growth within the Sequencing business unit. This remote position requires strong leadership and sales skills, along with a solid background in life sciences, particularly genomics and sequencing. You'll oversee a team, set sales goals, and interact closely with clients, playing a crucial role in product positioning in the marketplace.

Director of Sequencing Sales is responsible for all revenue growth for the Sequencing business unit for all products and services. This position will be responsible for the total Sequencing revenue requiring coordination with Eurofins Genomics account managers and marketing team. They will set goals, compare performance to goals, provide detail forecasts, and assess current team processes and procedures. They will be responsible to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members. They will provide assessment of individual performance through observation and suggest improvements and corrective actions as needed. They will actively engaged with the marketing group to position our products and services in the market. The majority of customer contact is face to face which requires strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build a compelling case to buy your products and services.
