About Evolution Devices

Evolution Devices is a rapidly growing medtech company transforming neurological rehab with the EvoWalk: an AI-powered, FDA-cleared medical device designed to improve mobility for individuals with neurological conditions. We are a small, award-winning team with previous backing from the Toyota Mobility Foundation, National Science Foundation, Verizon and the Alchemist Accelerator. We’re scaling fast and looking for a mission-driven, entrepreneurial leader to own and grow a critical region.

About the Role

As our Director of Sales – Southeast Region , you will be our first territory-based field hire, owning the Southeast region and shaping how we scale. You will work closely with our National Director of Sales and our inside sales team to deliver life-changing outcomes to patients. You will also work closely with healthcare professionals in your region to educate them about the benefits of EvoWalk as it compares to other FES systems on the market. Additionally, you will engage directly with our product and engineering team to continue to improve EvoWalk and our associated technologies as we continue to innovate and improve. You will be responsible for growing engagement with patients and providers in the VA/DoD healthcare system as well as the private sector to drive awareness, advocacy, and adoption of EvoWalk.

This is a hybrid clinical and commercial role with strong growth potential, ideal for someone looking to break out of rigid structures and be a strategic builder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow sales and adoption in your region, including VA/DoD hospitals and private rehabilitation networks across your region.
  • Lead in-person and virtual product demos, in-services, and patient evaluations for therapists, physicians, and patients.
  • Directly collaborate with the inside sales team to meet shared revenue goals.
  • Train and support clinicians on device use and patient selection.
  • Represent Evolution Devices at regional and national conferences, events, and demos.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers, therapists, and patient influencers.
  • Provide structured market feedback to the sales, product, engineering, and marketing team to inform national sales strategy and product evolution to help grow your business.
What You Bring
  • Licensed Physical Therapist strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years in clinical sales, clinical support, or neuro rehab (FES or other assistive gait technology a plus).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a builder’s spirit—you thrive with autonomy and responsibility.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to educate, persuade, and inspire clinicians and patients alike.
  • Comfortable with travel (40–60%) within the Southeast region.
