Job Title: Director of Sales & Marketing

The NoMo SoHo New York is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to join our prestigious team. This role involves maintaining, developing, implementing, and maximizing the business plan through effective strategies in direct sales, digital marketing, and revenue management. The successful candidate will ensure effective internal and external communications with clients, potential customers, and ownership.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop and execute business strategies through sales, marketing, and revenue management, ensuring effective communication with clients, staff, and ownership.
2. Lead the sales team in solicitation efforts, managing group room sales and rate negotiations.
3. Hire, train, evaluate, and manage sales staff, ensuring Crescent standards are met.
4. Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
5. Research market trends and develop new marketing strategies accordingly.
6. Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients and promote Crescent programs.
7. Meet with clients, including travel when necessary.
8. Provide clear verbal and written directions to staff.
9. Prepare and execute the annual Sales & Marketing Plan, adjusting as needed based on market conditions.
10. Attend and organize sales meetings and related events.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Hotel Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Experience in the local market is highly desirable.
• Experience with independent hotels is preferred.
