Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living, a community of Navion Senior Living, located in Boone, NC, is seeking a high-performing Senior Living Sales & Marketing Director. You will be responsible for leading all sales and marketing activities, including community engagement, referral source outreach, lead generation, inquiry management, tours, and closing sales. The objective is to support prospective residents and their families in evaluating senior care options and to demonstrate that Navion offers the best senior housing solutions. Responsibilities include achieving annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase occupancy.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales programs.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities and events.
  • Manage and adhere to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Regional Sales Director/Manager on advertising needs.
  • Achieve monthly sales activity standards, including follow-up calls, sales meetings, and lead mailings.
  • Meet community move-in and census goals; identify and address barriers.
  • Respond promptly and positively to inquiries.
  • Build and maintain a network of referral sources.
  • Host and attend community events to foster positive relations.
  • Research local competition regarding rates, services, and specials.
  • Implement a move-in system to ensure complete resident records prior to admission.
  • Maintain resident and inquiry information in the database.
  • Prepare and send mailings to prospects and residents.
  • Coordinate communication with team members about move-ins and resident needs.
  • Complete weekly and quarterly census reports.
  • Order promotional supplies within budget.
  • Schedule and conduct effective presentations for prospects and families.
  • Assist in assessing resident eligibility for occupancy.
  • Proven experience in sales, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to lead prospects from inquiry to close.
  • Ability to articulate Navion Senior Solutions' offerings and differentiate from competitors.
  • Work well with others and promote teamwork.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
