Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Director of Sales.

The Director of Sales will lead and manage the sales strategy for a healthcare technology company specializing in robotics and analytics platforms tailored for community health centers. The Director role involves developing high-impact sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, accounts, and customer segments, with a focus on community health centers.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to align product offerings and messaging effectively.

Team Management & Development:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and implement professional development programs.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives, administrators, and clinical leaders at community health centers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and demonstrating the value of robotics and analytics solutions.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations to enhance customer loyalty and expand market reach.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure goals are achieved or exceeded.
  • Prepare regular reports for the executive team, detailing sales progress, market insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, and customer success) to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in healthcare technology or medical devices.
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex technology solutions to healthcare providers, preferably to community health centers.
  • Experience in sales leadership roles with responsibility for team performance and revenue targets.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of the community health center landscape, including their operational and clinical challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics, analytics platforms, or related healthcare technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time, 35 hours (primarily remote)

Salary:$120,000 - $130,000 /per year, plus commission percentage
