SRIM's White Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lawton, MI is seeking a results-oriented sales professional. You will conduct community tours, respond to prospect inquiries, and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve occupancy goals.

You will work with the executive director to plan events, maintain the inquiry database, and coordinate move‑in paperwork, marketing materials, and resident satisfaction with courteous, compliant service.

Qualifications

  • Language Ability: read, analyze, and interpret business materials and respond to questions.
  • Math Ability: perform basic arithmetic and interpret simple graphs and figures.
  • Reasoning Ability: solve practical problems with limited standardization.
  • Computer Skills: basic Office 365 and similar tools knowledge.

Summary

Responsible for demonstrating and promoting SRIM's core value of the Golden Rule by treating others, including residents, families, and associates, in the same way we would like to be treated by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for and accountable for the organization, including planning and development of all functions and programs of the sales department with minimal supervision and guidance from the executive director.
  2. Prepares and implements the quality action plan with approval from the chief marketing officer.
  3. Conducts tours in the community.
  4. Initiates, accepts, answers and responds to sales calls.
  5. Responds to prospect inquiries including e-mails, Facebook questions, and website.
  6. Demonstrates a positive attitude about work issues, policies, and procedures.
  7. Applies concepts of excellence in customer service and always conducts duties in a positive and friendly manner.
  8. Demonstrates excellent decision-making skills and can understand the impact of those decisions.
  9. Ensures communications are clear, accurate, and timely.
  10. Sets and manages priorities.
  11. Monitors expenditures weekly to ensure compliance with department budgeted monthly amounts.
  12. Demonstrates good interpersonal/communication skills with all employees and visitors who work at or visit the community, and is always polite, courteous, and respectful.
  13. Plans and hosts special sales events at the community or other venues promoting your community.
  14. Maintains an up-to-date inquiry/lead database.
  15. Reviews/updates the quarterly action plan on a quarterly basis to meet changing needs of community.
  16. Achieves all occupancy goals as established by executive director.
  17. Visits each area of the community on a daily basis to ensure areas are clean, safe, and project the appropriate atmosphere/image for residents, family members, and visitors, and reports findings to the executive director.
  18. Responsible for all closings, processes appropriate move-in paperwork, and notifies and disperses such paperwork to appropriate departments.
  19. Ensures that only approved designs are used in advertisements and marketing collaterals.
  20. Responds promptly and courteously to resident’s requests for assistance by directing them to the appropriate department head.
  21. Knows, understands, and follows established policy and procedures in emergency situations.
  22. Acts as essential personnel, especially during emergencies.
  23. Wears clean and appropriate dress per established policy always.
  24. Understands and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  25. Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits always.
  26. Takes the initiative in work, seeks out additional information, and offers solutions/suggestions.
  27. Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or as requested.
  28. Takes on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties willingly.

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
