Job summary

BBSI is seeking a Director of Risk Management & AI/Technology Innovation to shape the future of risk and technology across the organization in San Francisco, CA. This role blends traditional risk oversight with cutting-edge AI and analytics leadership.

You will partner with Insurance, Claims and Underwriting to drive data-driven decisions and implement proactive risk solutions. Significant experience with national carriers and multi-state environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Risk, Insurance, Loss Control or Underwriting.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• AI, analytics, automation or technology experience valued.
• National carrier or large multi-state experience preferred.

• Lead the evolution of BBSI’s Risk & Safety strategy.

IDEAL BACKGROUND

Salary and Other Compensation

The starting salary for this position is between 150-200K base plus bonus and RSU's. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications of the candidate.

Paid Time Off

• Accrued sick leave of 1 hour for every 40 hours of work, with maximum based on state or regional requirements
• vacation accrues up to 80 hours in the first year, up to 120 hours in years 2-4, and up to 160 hours in the fifth year
• 6 paid holidays annually
• 4 paid volunteer days annually
