Job summary

You will collaborate with clinical, coding, analytics, operations, and payer teams to improve documentation integrity, educate providers, and strengthen population health outcomes. The role emphasizes cross-functional problem solving and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Physician with strong knowledge of clinical documentation and risk adjustment concepts (including HCC).
• Ability to partner effectively across interdisciplinary teams (clinical, coding, analytics, operations, payers).
• Strong communication and teaching skills to influence provider documentation behavior.
• Analytical mindset focused on quality improvement and performance enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician leadership to support enterprise risk adjustment strategy and documentation improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, coding, analytics, and payer teams to improve quality outcomes.
• Advise and educate providers on documentation practices that enable HCC capture.
• Identify opportunities to enhance clinical documentation and capture in line with program requirements.
• Support cross-functional problem-solving to improve effectiveness of risk adjustment and population health efforts.
