Job description

Sisense is the leading embedded AI analytics platform that empowers companies to build governed, trustworthy analytics and AI experiences directly into their own products, under their own brand. We help software builders overcome integration challenges, operationalize AI insights, and deliver proactive, trusted answers directly in the workflow. With more than 20 years of experience powering customer-facing analytics, Sisense enables software creators to generate revenue, not just reports. We serve innovative customers such as PagerDuty, Philips, and Seismic, and are continually recognized as a leader in embedded analytics on G2.

About the role

Sisense is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Director of Revenue Operations to lead our RevOps team and architect the intelligent systems, streamlined processes, and unified data models that power a dynamic go-to-market (GTM) organization of 50+ across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Operations & Finance, you will lead a five-person team: Two Salesforce Administrators, Sales Operations Manager, Marketing Operations Analyst, and Learning & Development Manager. You'll also stay hands-on in Salesforce and work closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and IT to translate business needs into effective processes, reliable reporting, and scalable technology solutions.

This is a true player-coach role: expect to dedicate roughly 50% of your time to team leadership, cross-functional GTM strategy, and revenue orchestration, and 50% to hands-on systems architecture, configuration, and advanced data analysis.

The ideal candidate deeply understands the modern, interconnected customer lifecycle, knows how to leverage AI and predictive analytics to solve GTM bottlenecks, and can effortlessly bridge the gap between high-level strategic planning and hands-on operational execution.

What you'll do
  • Set priorities, manage performance, coach team members, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous innovation, and high operational rigor.
  • Lead the roadmap, administration, and seamless integration of our core platforms (Salesforce, Clari, Gainsight, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CaptivateIQ, etc.). Audit and consolidate overlapping systems to eliminate tool bloat and ensure technology investments deliver maximum ROI.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-powered forecasting, automated pipeline management, and intelligent data routing. Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and accelerate time-to-insight while maintaining stringent data governance.
  • Build and enforce frictionless, cross-functional processes spanning the entire customer journey—from lead routing and opportunity management to quoting, deal approvals, renewals, and expansion (including partner and reseller motions).
  • Establish ironclad data architecture, definitions, ownership, and validation controls so teams can completely trust the underlying data used for predictive modeling and executive decision-making.
  • Move beyond reactive reporting. Develop predictive dashboards and proactive reporting frameworks that deliver actionable visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, rep productivity, and net retention using Salesforce and Clari. (Bonus: Leverage Sisense's own embedded analytics to "drink our own champagne.")
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Sales and Finance on dynamic territory mapping, capacity planning, and quota setting, adapting swiftly to changing market conditions.
  • Design, iterate, and support competitive sales compensation plans. Administer payouts accurately via CaptivateIQ, ensuring total transparency, timely execution, and clear communication to the field.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, training, and ROI measurement, ensuring seamless adoption of new processes across the GTM organization.
What you'll bring
  • 8+ years of Revenue, Sales, or Marketing Operations experience within B2B SaaS, including 5+ years of people management focused on mentoring, workload prioritization, and high-performance team building.
  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise: Advanced knowledge of administration, complex configuration, automation (Flows), permissions, data management, and integrations.
  • Strategic systems mastery: Proven experience owning, rationalizing, and integrating a modern revenue tech stack, specifically spanning marketing automation, sales engagement, and CPQ platforms.
  • AI & automation acumen: Direct experience evaluating or implementing AI-driven GTM tools, predictive forecasting models, or conversational analytics within revenue operations.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Demonstrated success driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, influencing executive decisions, and delivering shared revenue outcomes.
  • Full-funnel expertise: A holistic understanding of the modern SaaS customer lifecycle, advanced revenue metrics (NDR, CAC, LTV), pipeline velocity, and modern forecasting methodologies.
  • Translation skills: The ability to distill complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions, and seamlessly communicate operational issues to both technical engineering teams and non-technical executives.
  • Data-driven rigor: Exceptional analytical skills, a relentless commitment to reliable data, and the sound judgment required to balance competing business priorities against available resources.
Preferred qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with GTM Tools like Salesforce, Marketo, Jira, Clari, RingLead, ZoomInfo, Clari Copilot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification; additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation, sales engagement, and CPQ platforms.
  • Experience supporting global teams and partner or reseller sales motions.
  • Experience implementing AI and automation within revenue operations.
