Koelsch Communities is seeking a Director of Resident Services for Maple Glen Memory Care in Glen Ellyn, IL. The RN or LPN will lead the resident services team, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff, and oversee care programs.

This full-time, exempt role offers a salary of $95,000–$100,000 with bonus opportunities, benefits, and growth potential. Mon–Fri with on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN/LVN license in the resident state
• Drug-free and able to pass drug screening on hire
• Previous supervisory experience in geriatrics preferred
• Ability to pass criminal background check as required by state regulations
• Ability to obtain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public

• Direct the operation of the Community's resident services department
• Direct the hiring and assignment of duties of licensed and non-licensed staff
• Evaluate residents' condition and care needs to determine the level of assistance
• Evaluate resident records on an ongoing basis
• Ensure availability of supplies and equipment related to the resident services

Who you are:

You are a healthcare professional ready to direct operations and pave the way for our high level of senior care. This role directs the operation of the community Resident Services Department focusing on resident care, regulatory compliance, staff management, cost containment, and marketing Memory Care / Assisted Living program services.

What you'll do:

• Direct the operation of the Community's resident services department
• Direct the hiring and assignment of duties of licensed and non-licensed staff
• Evaluate residents' condition and care needs to determine the level of assistance needed
• Evaluate resident records on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

• (RNs are preferred; required in WA) Maintains a current and unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse ( LVN ), Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) or Registered Nurse ( RN ) license to practice professional nursing in the residing state
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
• Previous experience in a supervisory position (Geriatrics preferred)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
