Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of the Resident Experience Program.
- Create and organize programs for group, individual, and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ needs.
- Research, evaluate, approve, develop, and modify community events and programs based on residents’ interests.
- Prepare and publish the monthly Resident Experience event calendar, available to residents and families by the 1st of each month.
- Coordinate activities with other departments, sometimes partnering with marketing for events.
- Utilize LifeLoop to produce and publish monthly calendars.
- Identify and evaluate personal, emotional, mental, and environmental concerns affecting residents’ use of medical and restorative care.
- Encourage participation from residents to the extent they are comfortable.
- Manage departmental needs and goals within the department budget.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating team members.
- Research, approve schedules, and supervise programs, leaders, entertainers, volunteers, religious professionals, and vendors.
- Serve as the ‘Manager on Duty’ as assigned, following the role’s responsibilities.
- Recruit, train, and supervise Resident Experience team members and volunteers, maintaining records and collaborating with other departments on volunteer needs.
- May operate community vehicles as required.

Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of related experience.
- Completion of all applicable certifications and licensing requirements.
- Effective verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, including team supervision, performance management, coaching, and reviews.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and technology, including computers, tablets, and resident experience software.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record and compliance with company vehicle policies.
- Creative, innovative, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to set and achieve goals, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks.
- Research skills to explore various options for decision-making.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships within the community and with external partners.
