Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in Kingston, PA seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan and oversee lifestyle programs that engage residents across physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual dimensions.

You will recruit volunteers, coordinate events, manage calendars, supervise Celebrations Department staff, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering enriching experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation, Education, Gerontology, Social Work, or Adult Education.
• Three to five years related experience.
• Two years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and conducts lifestyle programs for physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Plans programs for holidays and special events.
• Recruits and develops resources for services to residents and coordinates external communications.
• Advises and motivates residents on activities based on interests and growth opportunities.
• Prepares and manages calendars, budgets, and community newsletters.
• Provides leadership of lifestyle program and supervises staff across the unit.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations for living options.
