This senior leader will direct a comprehensive rehabilitation research program, combining scientific leadership, research portfolio management, federal grant development, investigator mentorship, and executive-level strategy—while maintaining an active research program of their own.

Formación

• MD or PhD from an accredited institution.
• Strong national reputation in medical rehabilitation research.
• 7+ years of administrative/research leadership experience as a Program Director, Department Head, PI, or comparable role.
• Demonstrated success obtaining federal research funding.
• Strong knowledge of funding sources relevant to rehabilitation research.
• Expertise in research design, data analysis, and scientific publication.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and execute short- and long-term research strategy and scientific priorities.
• Oversee a portfolio of rehabilitation and spinal cord injury research programs while maintaining an active research program.
• Lead and mentor investigators, research staff, and emerging research leaders.
• Develop major research initiatives and identify funding opportunities, particularly federal research funding.
• Guide research design, data analysis, scientific dissemination, and publication efforts.
