Flagship Therapy is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation for Monticello Post-Acute and Rehab in Monticello, FL. The role leads PT/OT/SLP services, develops rehabilitation programs, and oversees daily operations of the in-house therapy department.

The ideal candidate is a licensed therapist with 3+ years supervisory experience in long-term care and deep knowledge of Medicare PDPM, regulatory compliance, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapist
• 3+ years supervisory/administrative experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Medicare PDPM and payor coordination
• Ability to lead and develop rehabilitation programs across PT/OT/SLP

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors rehab policies and procedures for the facility
• Supervises rehab staff, orientation, training, and competency
• Coordinates admissions and caseload distribution
• Manages PDPM-based case management and documentation

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are currently seeking an innovative PT, OT or SLP to lead our in-house therapy team as Director of Rehabilitation at Monticello Post-Acute and Rehab i n Monticello, FL . You will create and implement new rehabilitation programs for our deserving patients and manage the daily operations associated with a busy in-house therapy department.

Duties:

Implements and monitors the provision of facility Rehab policy and procedures

Supervises rehab staff and ensures effective rehab staff orientation, training and ongoing competency

Coordinates rehab admissions and distribution of caseload

Assists in the case management/tracking of Medicare A rehab cases under the PDPM system

Recruits rehab staff

Manages and analyzes department metrics including accurate billing

Ensures that rehab department is compliant with all regulatory issues. This includes assurance that department records are completed and maintained, such as medical record documentation, reimbursement denials management and other survey compliance requirements.

Maintains relationships with hospital therapists, physicians and other key community members

Qualifications:

Licensed Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapist

At least 3 years of experience as a therapist

Supervisory and/or administrative experience in long term care rehabilitation preferred

Knowledge of Medicare PDPM and ability to manage a variety of payors effectively

Strong organizational and leadership skills
