Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) seeks an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead a multidisciplinary therapy team serving adult and geriatric populations. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight while keeping patient-centered outcomes as the priority.

You’ll collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to support therapists, maintain high-quality care, and drive clinical excellence at the local level.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited PT/OT/SLP/PTA/COTA program.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare; long-term care setting preferred.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily rehabilitation program operations.
• Mentor and support a multidisciplinary therapy team in a collaborative environment.
• Deliver patient-centered rehab focused on independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes.
• Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing clinical guidance to therapists.
• Oversee therapy operations: staffing, scheduling, productivity, documentation, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to grow rehabilitation services while maintaining quality care.
• Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement in the rehabilitation experience.
• Foster a culture where therapists feel supported, valued, and accountable.
• Partner with facility leadership as a trusted advisor for patients and therapy team.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the facility’s rehabilitation therapy program
• Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary therapy team while creating a positive and collaborative work environment
• Help clinicians deliver personalized, patient-centered rehabilitation focused on independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life
• Partner with facility leadership, nursing, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and continuity of care
• Support therapist development through coaching, mentorship, communication, and ongoing clinical guidance
• Oversee therapy operations, including staffing, scheduling, productivity, clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and program performance
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow rehabilitation services while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care
• Monitor patient and program outcomes and collaborate with your team to continuously improve the rehabilitation experience
• Foster a culture where therapists feel supported, valued, accountable, and empowered to succeed
• Serve as a trusted partner to facility leadership while advocating for both patients and the therapy team
