Flagship Therapy is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation at Delta Post Acute and Rehabilitation in Delta, CO. You will lead a dedicated in-house therapy team and shape clinical programs to meet community needs, while enjoying strong local leadership support and freedom from rigid corporate structure.

The role emphasizes ownership of rehab programs, ongoing education, and collaboration with hospital staff and physicians to maintain high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT, OT or SLP with current credentialing.
• Minimum 3 years of therapist experience.
• Supervisory/administrative experience in long term care rehab preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare PDPM and ability to manage multiple payors.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors rehab policy and procedures for the facility.
• Supervises rehab staff, orientation, training and ongoing competency.
• Coordinates rehab admissions and caseload distribution.
• Assists in Medicare PDPM case management/tracking.
• Recruits rehab staff and supports workforce growth.
• Manages department metrics including billing accuracy.

We are excited to announce our growth in Colorado and are currently seeking an innovative Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapistto join our in-house therapy team as Director of Rehabilitation at Delta Post Acute and Rehabilitation. You will create and implement new rehabilitation programs for our deserving patients and manage the daily operations associated with a busy in-house therapy department.

Duties:

• Implements and monitors the provision of facility Rehab policy and procedures
• Supervises rehab staff and ensures effective rehab staff orientation, training and ongoing competency
• Coordinates rehab admissions and distribution of caseload
• Assists in the case management/tracking of Medicare A rehab cases under the PDPM system
• Recruits rehab staff
• Manages and analyzes department metrics including accurate billing
• Ensures that rehab department is compliant with all regulatory issues. This includes assurance that department records are completed and maintained, such as medical record documentation, reimbursement denials management and other survey compliance requirements.
• Maintains relationships with hospital therapists, physicians and other key community members

Qualifications:

• Licensed PT, OT or SLP
• At least 3 years of experience as a therapist
• Supervisory and/or administrative experience in long term care rehabilitation preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare PDPM and ability to manage a variety of payors effectively
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
